Children of the Day

In 1993 American culture was enriched by a motion picture that nearly everyone of us has likely seen several times. It’s about a Pittsburgh television weatherman, Phil Connors who is tasked to do a human interest story about the bizarre ritual observed yearly in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania called, “Groundhog Day”.

But Phil is a mean, selfish person, becomes trapped in a time loop that repeats the day again and again, and Phil is destined to relive it over and over until he learns the importance of kindness and generosity. It’s a hilarious and yet poignant reminder that our days are limited and what we do in those days, echoes in eternity.
