About a month ago, I received a post card in the mail from a local supermarket letting me know about their new home delivery service.
– At first, my only question was how much something like that would cost. But, surprisingly, it wasn’t all that expensive.
– I then wondered who would actually use it. But then I notice how the addressed the postcard. In fact, how they addressed it explains why someone might use it.
You see, the postcard didn’t have my name on it… instead; it was simply addressed, “Dear Time Pressed Family”.
– I looked at that and thought, “Man, did they get that right!” As a society, we are revved-up, stressed-out, and overscheduled.
– In so many ways, we’ve exceeded our maximum capacity for what we can handle and we ready to collapse.
